OBLINSKY – Ryan G., 40, of Ebensburg, passed away April 2, 2019 at home. Born May 26, 1978 in Johnstown, son of the late George III “Pud” and Denise (Lashinsky) Oblinsky. Preceded in death by maternal grandmother Rose Lashinsky and maternal grandfather George “Crow” Lashinsky. Survived by wife, Jennifer (Cessna) Oblinsky, to whom he was married ten years and children: Dustin, J.T. and Mikayla. Also survived by sister: Tesia (Brian) Emerson; brother-in-law Brian Cessna; uncles: George (Barb) Lashinsky and John (Tressa) Oblinsky; father-in-law and mother-in-law Donald “Doc” and Mary Kay Cessna; nephews Ty & Dawson Emerson, and niece Jordan Emerson. Ryan was a graduate of Central Cambria High School (1997) and the Johnson & Wales Culinary School in Norfolk, Virginia. He had been employed at Kostas, Holy Name Church and most recently A.C. Miller. Ryan enjoyed bowling, cooking, hiking, and camping with his family in Potter County. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, the Rev. Msgr. David Lockard, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his family.
