Obituary of William Stephen Single

SINGLE- William Stephen "Billy", 62, of Rossiter, formerly of Beaverdale, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on June 14, 2019. Born January 19, 1957 to the late George and Marion (Urban) Single. Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Wasko and Mary Single; maternal grandparents, Andrew, whom Billy shared a birthday with, and Mary Urban; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Survived by sister, Frances (William) Slifko; nephew, Brian; niece, Collette, and their families, of whom he was very proud; as well as several aunts and uncles. Billy enjoyed remembering days gone by and people he knew. He also appreciated the small things in life, such as a close shave, a hot shower, a cup of coffee, a simple home-cooked meal, and especially family visits to Punxy where lunch was had at the Chinese buffet. The family of Billy asks that you please keep him in your prayers. A special "thank you" to all those at Green Acres; you were his "guardian angels" and he loved you for the wonderful care you showed him. Billy was an organ donor, which allowed him to give a final gift to his community, the gift of life. God Bless you Billy, you were so loved. PAX et BONUM.
