TAKACS - Margaret L. "Peg," 92, Parkview Apartments, Ebensburg, formerly of Pittsburgh, died June 15, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 21, 1914, in Pittsburgh, daughter of Louis and Elizabeth Liptak. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Julius W.; and sister, Rose Chemes. Survived by children, Dr. Wayne, married to the former Elizabeth Knorr, Ebensburg; Gordon, married to the former Judy Franz, Fairport, N.Y.; and Carl, married to the former Josephine Hatalla, Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Peg was a devoted mother and grandmother. Member of CD of A and very active in the senior's group at St. Albert the Great's Church, both of Pittsburgh. Member of the Ebensburg Senior Citizens. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Matevish & Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake service will be held Sunday evening. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Msgr. Arnold L.. Gaus. Committal, Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery, Pittsburgh. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Holy Name School Angel Fund, in Peg's memory.
