ITLE - Florence Margaret, age 94, Loretto, died peacefully July 17, 2006, at Maple Winds Care Center, Portage. Born April 18, 1912, in Nicktown, daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Schirf) Peters. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Gerald; son, John; grandson, David Morchesky; and these brothers and sisters: Grace Krug, Mildred Peters, Walter J., William, Ruth Dietrick, Helen Peters, Henry, Walter A. and Fred. Survived by these children: Gary Lee, married to the former Rebecca Paulone, Jeannette, Pa.; Judith Anne, wife of Daniel Monahan, Lilly R.D.; Linda Ruth, wife of Kenneth Morchesky, Carrolltown R.D.; and daughter-in-law, Mary McCann Itle, Lancaster; nine grandchildren: Rene Minick, Greg Itle and Rachel Itle; Susan McAndrew and Daniel Monahan; Michael Itle and Nicole Itle; Douglas Morchesky; and Darren Morchesky; great-grandchildren, Grace and Elise Minick; Sarah, Patrick, Julia and Johnathan Gerald McAndrew; and Delia Morchesky. Sister of Irvin, Nicktown; Rita Krebs and Lucy Smolko, both of Palm Bay, Fla.; Sister Mary Elaine (Hilda), Cresson; and Ray, Elton. Member of Legion of Mary, Loretto. Wife of the founder of the Vale Wood Dairy Farms, Loretto. Very proud and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake services will be held Wednesday afternoon. Funeral Mass, 11 a.m. Thursday at the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Loretto, Monsignor Timothy Swope. Committal, St. Michael Cemetery, Loretto.
