KLESSER - John, 84, Ebensburg, died Aug. 3, 2006, at Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Jan. 15, 1922, in Beccaria, son of Michael and Nancy (Dziuba) Klesser. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Charles and Michael; and sisters, Ann Zazworsky and Evelyn Lewis. Survived by loving wife of 55 years, Antoinette Revak; daughter, Diane, wife of James Chervenak; grandchildren, Alison (Chervenak), wife of Brian Lobick, Carey (Chervenak), wife of Jason Hill and Jessica Chervenak.; and great-grandchildren, Abigail Lobichk and Austin and Max Hill. Brother of George, Frank, Boyde, Marie Moroni, Helen Lytle and Stella Duke. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northern Cambria. Retired from Barnes and Tucker Mine 25, Nicktown. Member of UMWA. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, having served 29 months on the USS Lexington. Life member of VFW Post 4963, Ebensburg. John was an avid gardener and planted a huge garden every year. Friends received from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. Monday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, the Rev.
