Obituary of Felicia B. Davidson

DAVIDSON - Felicia B., 65, Sherrills Ford, N.C., formerly of Ebensburg, died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2006, of coronary artery disease. She and her husband, J. Paul Davidson, a native of Ebensburg, both graduated from the University of South Carolina, where she earned bachelor's degrees in anthropology and in psychology. Mr. and Mrs. Davidson were married on Nov. 27, 1965, and then moved to Ebensburg. Mr. and Mrs. Davidson ran Cresson Ridge Restaurant until they retired to care for her ailing father. She was recently president of Diane 29 Corp. in Gastonia, N.C. When she was younger, she was active in the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra and also was a member of Chapter 303 of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Davidson, a loving mother and grandmother, is preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Thomas Davidson; her parents; and a sister. She is survived by her husband, Paul; her daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Robert Morgan, Raleigh, N.C.; grandson, Afon Thomas Morgan, Raleigh; and three sisters. There will be a memorial at Warlick Funeral Home Chapel, Lincolnton, N.C., on Sunday, Aug. 27, at 2 p.m. Another memorial will be held at a later date in Ebensburg, with a burial to follow. Donations in memoriam may be given to Doctors Without Borders.
