DUMAN - Carol Ann, 65, Ebensburg, died Sept. 7, 2006, in Ebensburg. Born Nov. 21, 1940, in Ebensburg, daughter of Samuel E. and Mary P. (Bichko) Marchu. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, Howard James Diviney, whom she loved very much and who loved her in return; granddaughter, Candace Diviney; and son-in-law, Thomas Watson. Survived by husband, Herman Duman; these children: Howard James Diviney, Tyler, Texas, and David Samuel (Kathy) Diviney, Nanty Glo; stepchildren, David (Amy) Duman, Harrisburg; Ann (Karl) Smith, Mineral Point; Mary Watson, Overland Park, Kan.; Joyce (Richard) Killian, Johnstown; Paul (Linette) Duman, Nanty Glo; and Mark (Shelley) Duman, Mountville; grandchildren, Jimmie, Tia and Kiona Diviney; stepgrandchildren, Justin, Lauren and Susan Duman; Karlee Smith; Kristin, Kimberly, Michael and Brian Watson; Jacob, Joshua and Jude Duman; and Tyler and Ryan Duman; and stepgreat-granddaughter, Kylie Watson. Sister of Jim Marchu; Joyce (Jim) Wolfe; and Edward (Sheryl) Marchu, all of Nanty Glo; Samuel R. (Christine) Marchu, Mineral Point; and Thomas (Sharon) Marchu, New Jersey. Also uncle, Paul (Sophie) Bichko, and aunt, Ann Bichko, both of Nanty Glo. Also survived by numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Member of the Red Hat Society (Glo Chapeaux), Nanty Glo, and VFW Auxiliary of Twin Rocks. Graduate of Nanty Glo-Vintondale High School, Class of 1958. Formerly employed at Commons Hardware, Nanty Glo, and for Dr. Paul Barton in Ebensburg and Cresson. Carol enjoyed crafting, crocheting, traveling and shopping. Carol loved spending time with her grandchildren. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Matevish & Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake service will be held Monday evening. Member of Holy Name Parish, Ebensburg, where funeral Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Msgr. Arnold L. Gaus. Committal, EUB Cemetery, Belsano.
