SHAY - Charles F., 84, Cambria Township, passed away Sept. 14, 2006, at home. Born March 4, 1922, in Johnstown, son of the late Michael and Genevieve (Wess) Shay. Preceded in death by wife, Dorothy Mae Shay, and brothers, Joseph, Michael and William. Survived by son, Charles Edward Shay, Clarksburg; grandchildren, Christine Lynn and Caren Leigh; and great-granddaughter, Alana McGuigan. Member of Ebensburg United Church of Christ. World War II Army veteran. Member of Ebensburg VFW Post 4963 and CNY Sportsmen's Club. At the request of the deceased there be no
viewing. Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at
Grandview Mausoleum, the Rev. William C. Thwing officiating.
