Obituary of Bryan Michael Beck

Beck - Bryan Michael, 21, of Colver Road, Ebensburg, died October 21, 2006 as a result of an auto accident on his way to work in Blair County. Born March 3, 1985 in Johnstown, son of Rodney J. and Christina M. (Luther) Beck. Survived by his parents, sister and brothers, Mandy, Scott and Josh, all at home. Also survived by maternal grandparents, Donald and Rose Luther, Carrolltown; paternal grandparents Albert & Helen Beck, Loretto; maternal great-grandmother Gladys Luther, Ebensburg; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A graduate of Central Cambria High School and Triangle Tech, Bryan had been employed in electrical maintenance at Veeder Root Corp. in Duncansville. Bryan enjoyed hunting, the great outdoors, football and hockey, and "hangin' out" with his buddies. He was a lifelong member of Holy Name Roman Catholic Church in Ebensburg. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a vigil prayer service will be held Monday evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Msgr. Arnold L. Gaus, celebrant. Committal at St. Benedict's Cemetery, Carrolltown.
