LASHER - Patricia A., 56, Portage, formerly of Nanty Glo, died Nov. 4, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 26, 1950, in Windber, the daughter of Andrew F. and Irene E. (Drapchak) Schuster. Preceded in death by parents; stepmother, Mary Cheney; and sister, Irene Molchany. Survived by son, Paul A. Lasher, Portage. Also survived by nieces, Sylvia, Nicole and Nanette; and nephews, Robert and Drew Molchany. A 1969 graduate of Nanty Glo Vintondale High School. Former teacher's aide for IU8 and an aide for UCP. She also worked as a coffee hostess at the former Parkhill Sheetz. Member of the Women in Moose of Ebensburg, social member of Nanty Glo American Legion and VFW and the Carrolltown American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She also was a contributing member of the DAV. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Mark A. Serenko Funeral Home, Portage, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Father David S. Peles officiating. Committal, St. Mary's Hungarian Cemetery, Windber.
