KENDRA - Edith (Stiles), 73, Strongstown, died Dec. 25, 2006, at Laurel Crest Manor. Born May 12, 1933, in Strongstown, daughter of the late Cleophus "John" and Lucinda (Huffman) Stiles. Preceded in deathy by son, Alexander Kendra Jr., and grandson, Ryan Todd Kendra. Survived by husband, Alexander Sr., Strongstown; and children: Michael (Audrey), Cleveland, Ohio; Robert (Tina), Wellington, Ohio; Thomas (Sherry), Hedgesville, W.Va.; Sharon (Michael) Zavalanski, Gainsville, Va.; and Joseph (Angela), Sterling, Va.; also 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother and sister, Leona Kendra, Strongstown, and Homer Stiles, New Castle. Member of Church of the Resurrection, Heilwood. She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and taking pictures. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Church of the Resurrection, Heilwood. Interment to follow at Historical St. Patrick's Cemetery, Cameron's Bottom.
