DAVIS - Lester H., 90, Twin Rocks, died Dec. 28, 2006, at Laurel Crest Manor. Born Nov. 17, 1916, in Beulah, a son of the late Aden and Melissa (Grove) Davis. Preceeded in death by wife, the former Edith Lamer; son, James R. Davis; and these brothers and sisters, Claire, Viola, Ruth, Leo, Lenard, Russell, Evelyn, Nora and Helen. Survived by children, Robert E., Belsano, Lester H. Jr. and Dennis D., both of Twin Rocks. Also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Davis was a coal miner for Bethlehem Steel Corp. and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at EUB Cemetery, Belsano. Arrangements in charge of the Alternative Burial Corp., 146 Chandler Ave.
