KROSKIE - Mrs. Christine L. (Kachik), 45, Beaverdale, died Dec. 24, 2004, at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 16, 1959, in Nanty Glo, daughter of Francis and Louise (Augustosky) Kachik. She is survived by her parents of Nanty Glo; husband, Lawrence R., Beaverdale; and brother, Francis, Nanty Glo. She is a graduate of St. Francis college with a bachelor's degree in social work, having worked as a counselor in several drug and alcohol programs in this area. She was an animal lover and supported animal rights and was an avid sports fan. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Beaverdale, where vigil for the deceased will be held Sunday evening. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Holy Spirit Church, Beaverdale. Father Anthony J. Legarski, celebrant. Committal, St. Joseph Cemetery, Beaverdale.
