DUNCAN - Dorothy E. (Starr), 84, Nanty Glo, died Jan. 8, 2005, at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 17, 1920, in Sagamore, daughter of William and Olive (Duttry) Starr. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Chester; brothers and sisters, Ernest, Violet Bush, Eva Misner and Howard. Survived by children, Carol Becker, and husband, Ron, Langhorne, and Terri Bartoletti, and husband, Geno, Nanty Glo; grandchildren, Taryn, Denise, Megan and Dane; four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mildred Thompson, Warren, Ohio, and Erma Lyttle, Nanty Glo. Member of Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Nanty Glo. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, the Rev. Dr. Rick Clark officiating. Interment, Pineland Cemetery, Strongstown.
