My brother John was the most pleasant man you could ever be around. He loved life! He was always smiling and joking about everything. He made me laugh! He loved to take walks in the woods. And pick mushrooms, go fishing, and take his faithful companion Barb out...just about anywhere! I have great memories about my brother. He called me "Chip" because I was his little sister. He was 19 when I was born. I will always have him in my heart! Love you John. Your sister Carol Mottin!

I have so many fond memories of my Uncle John. I loved spending time at your home in Washington playing in the backyard with my cousins, Kim, Kelly, and Christopher. Thank you for encouraging us to adopt our dogs, Ricky & Nicky! We also had so much fun spending holidays with Grandma & Grandpap! You will be missed. My thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences are with the entire Mehalko family. God Bless.

Dad
Thank you for giving me such a wonderful life. You were my hero and my rock. Still trying to imagine a life without you. I breathed your last breath with you then you took a piece of my soul with you when you left. I will always cherish our memories. Our story is not over, I'll see you again soon on the other side. Love you forever. Kelly

My Uncle John was a very special person to me. I'll never forget his kindness and generosity. I'm so sad he had to go, but glad that he had a good life and is now at peace with the Lord. He will always be fondly remembered. Love and prayers. Michelle (Mottin) Lingenfelter
