Obituary of Wayne "Skins" Worthington
WORTHINGTON – Wayne R. “Skins”, 81, of Blacklick Twp., passed away Dec. 23, 2019 at home. Born Dec. 3, 1938 in Johnstown, son of the late Richard and Elsie (Brassat) Worthington. Preceded in death by wife, Irene; and grandson, Michael J. Worthington. Survived by sons, Terry (Susan); Ric; Theodore (Sandy); and Brandon (Raeann). Grandchildren, Nicole, Terry,Jr., Teddy, Matthew, Zach and Lainee. Great Grandchildren, Taylor, Michaela, Noah and Nevaeh. Retired from Bethlehem Steel. Wayne was an avid sports fan. Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, the Rev. Leonard Voytek, officiating. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Nanty Glo.
