BAILEY - Willard E. "Will", 84 of Colver, passed away March 27, 2020 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born May 8, 1935 in South Fork, son of the late William and Elizabeth (Penrod) Bailey. Preceded in death by former wife, Regina (Hughes) Bailey; son Michael; daughter, Colleen; brother Frank, and sisters: Sadie Mae Goughnour and Betty Myers. Survived by wife, the former Margie (Bowman) Charles-Bailey, and children: Cathy Stone; Michele (Tracy); Ray Charles; Denny (Rhanda) Charles; Larry Charles; Cindy (Kerry) Jacobs; and Scott (Melissa) Charles; grandchildren: Charles II, Carolyn, Kevin, Kathryne, Dale, Amber, Andrea, Lauren, Kara, Joe, Amber, Deanna, Alesha, and their spouses; great-grandchildren: Charles III, Lliam, Alice, Parker, Abigal, Zach, Everitt, Novalee, Treyton, Tayleah, Kendyl, Kyron, Gavin, Kayson, Sawyer, and Preslee; brothers: Charles (Lynnea) Bailey and Meade Bailey; sister, Mary Mellotti; brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews. Will had been a retired continuous coal miner/operator and had been employed over his career with Bethlehem Steel, Greenwich Mines, BethEngery Mine #78 and Trinity Axle Plant. A proud member of UMWA. A member of Colver Presbyterian Church, where he was an active volunteer and former member of the church session. A member of The Colver Sportsman Club, he enjoyed fishing, carving, tree trimming, puzzles, story telling, and spending time with his grandchildren. A loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather. Due to Public Health concerns, the services will be private, but a Memorial Service will be planned for the future. In lieu of flowers, donations in Will's memory may be made to the Colver Fire Company & 40-Tech or to the Colver Presbyterian Church.
