Obituary of Kenneth J. Jenkins, Sr.

JENKINS – Kenneth J. Jenkins, Sr., 84, of Mundys Corner, went to be with the Lord May 17, 2020 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born Jan. 10, 1936 in Mundys Corner, son of the late Irvin “Pete” and Helen (Dishong) Jenkins. Survived by loving wife Janice, of 63 years of marriage; sons, Kenny (Patty); and Greg (Kim). Grandchildren, Mandee (Bobby); and Pete. Great Grandson, Briggs. Also survived by sister, Lois Fertick; brother, Jerry (Caroline); and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Ken worked at Acme Markets Warehouse for 20 years. Retired from Central Cambria School District for 21 years, Part time Parts Deliveryman for Nanty Glo Auto; and numerous years at Merlo Trucking of Mineral Point. Ken enjoyed hunting, wood working, tinkering; spending time with his pets and his grandchildren, especially his great grandson, Briggs.
