Obituary of Patricia A. Millward

Our family would like to take this time to honor our wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister-in-law, mentor and best friend.  Patricia Millward, 86, was called to the Lord on May 18^th, 2020 while at home.   Born on November 30, 1933 in Johnstown, PA, daughter of the late Harold and Katherine (Stefanick) Trombley. Survived by loving husband Jerry, children, Mike (Tammy), Frank (Connie), Jake (MaryBeth), David, Kathy (Tim) Yahner, Patrice (Rick) Moorhead, brother in law, Don (Linda) Burke, 21 Grandchildren, and 26 Great Grandchildren. Pat and Jerry were happily married for 68 years.  She served as a devout Catholic as a member of Saint Mary’s church as well as a past member of Saint Mary’s PTA.  Pat started the baton twirling group, Jayette’s, with a close friend. She was dedicated to the Blacklick Valley Ambulance Association for over 20 years.  Pat enjoyed frequenting hometown businesses in Nanty Glo. Pat loved watching little league, football, and attending all sporting events that her children and grandchildren were involved in.  Pat was the glue that held our family together.  Heaven gained an angel and she will be truly missed by all. Due to public health concerns at this time, services are private.  Arrangements in care of Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the local food pantry.
