Obituary of Catherine (Eget) Condo

CONDO (EGET) - Catherine “Cathy”, 65, of Nanty Glo, passed away Aug. 18, 2020. Born Dec. 2, 1954 in Johnstown, daughter of the late John and Mary (Greenawalt) Eget. Preceded in death by sisters, Elizabeth “Toots” Kuzilla, Joanne Decker and Mary Yates; brother, John Eget; and grandson, Joey “Vern” Bohadel. Survived by fiancé, Joseph Yeckley, who was her best friend and caregiver; son, Ronald (Missy) Fetzer; daughter, Kimberly (Zach) Portser; daughter, Melissa Roberts & Adam. Grandchildren, Joshua Fetzer, Ryan Fetzer, Cody Thompson and Dylan Buis. Also survived by brother, Joseph (Susan) Eget; sister, Barbara (Steve) Szymusiak; brother in law, Dick Yates; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cathy was an avid reader, loved to be on Facebook and was Co-administrator for, “I grew up in Cambria County.” Friends will be received from 3 – 5 p.m. on Saturday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.
