Obituary of Lillian Frances Bober

BOBER - Lillian F., 93, of Nanty Glo, died December 10, 2020, surrounded by her family. Born December 15, 1926, in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (Bruno) Dino. She is preceded in death by husband, Walter Bober; brothers and sisters, Julian, Katherine, Petrina, Grant, Cora, Lucy, Louis, Frances, Joseph and Angeline. Lillian is survived by her children, Walter (Linda) Bober of Johnstown; Mark (Linda) Bober of Nanty Glo; Mary (Bernie) Stephens of Lewistown; and Kathleen Howard of Phoenix AZ. Grandchildren, Apryle (Nick Pholar) Bober, Kelly (Joey) George, Amanda (Zach) Peachey, Jeffrey (Jess Boreman) Stephens, Michael Howard and Charlie Howard. Great grandchildren, Austin (Sarah Konicky) George, Amber (Everitt Fryer) Sims, Cameron Stephens, Madison Stephens, and Baby Wyatt Peachey. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Lillian was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Nanty Glo, where she was a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a member of the Legion of Mary. Lillian enjoyed spending time with her family, playing pinochle, putting puzzles together, reading, crosswords, and solving the daily jumble puzzles. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions at this time, services are private. Arrangements are in care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Nanty Glo.
