WILLIAMSON – Donald G. “Ivy”, 75, of Ebensburg, passed away March 9, 2021 at home. Born June 15, 1945 in Johnstown, son of Glenn M. and Sara (Haney) Williamson. He is proceeded in death by daughter, Heather Lynn Williamson, father Glenn, brother James Robert “Chum” Williamson, paternal grandparents Charles and Edna Williamson and maternal grandparents, Bernard and Pearl Haney. Survived by mother, Sara Williamson; children: Danea (Justin) Koss, and Devon (Becca) Williamson, grandchildren: Zachary & Roan Koss; Cole Williamson, and Olivia Griffith, and former wife and dear friend, Karen Fugini, all of Ebensburg. Also survived by brothers: Jack Williamson; Tim (Sandy) Williamson; Ashley (Angela) Dziabo; nieces, nephews, many faithful friends and his loyal dog Max. Ivy was former co-owner and operator of his family business - Central Cambria Drilling Company, and upon retirement ventured into the business of local rental properties. His family and friends were everything to him. He enjoyed family time together and social gatherings with his buddies more than anything. He had a passion for automobiles and enjoyed acquiring and tinkering with vintage Porsche, Jaguars, and Corvettes. He was a member of the Ebensburg Loyal Order of Moose and Post 363 American Legion, Ebensburg. Friends may gather from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg. Entombment at Richland Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ivy’s memory may be made to the Ebensburg Area Ambulance Association, Dauntless Fire Company, or to your local first responders organization.
