Obituary of Barry J. Wilson

WILSON – Barry J., 71, of Ebensburg, passed away August 11, 2021 at home. Born May 30, 1950 in Johnstown, son of Herschel and Helen (Schrift) Wilson. Preceded in death by father and first wife Janice L. (Hoyt) Wilson. Survived by wife of 28 years, Veronica R. (Molnar) Wilson; son, Matthew J. Wilson; mother, Helen Wilson; and brother, Brian J. (Debra) Wilson. Barry was a member of Holy Name Roman Catholic Church, where he served as an usher. He was also co-founder of Infocon Corporation, Ebensburg, where he retired after 41 years. Barry enjoyed hunting and gardening, but his real passion was yardwork and his wood pile.  Friends will be received from 6-8pm Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Home, Inc., Ebensburg, where a vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Brian Warchola, celebrant. Committal, Holy Name Mausoleum, Ebensburg.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Barry’s memory may be made to Holy Name Church, 500 N. Julian Street, Ebensburg, Pa.  15931
