DONALDSON – Kenneth D., 77, of Ebensburg R.D., passed away November 20, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center.  Born February 19, 1944 in Salem Twp., Westmoreland County, son of Willard J. and Edna Grace (Pierce) Donaldson.  Preceded in death by his father and brother Sam.  Survived by wife, the former Nancy Rummel, to whom he married in 2007; mother Edna Grace, Vintondale; and children:  Brian (Heather), Bethlehem, Pa.; Paul (Diane) Dryzal, Strongstown; Shawn, Dover, DE, and Sally (Kevin) Pollock, Marion Center; one granddaughter, Lexi, and his faithful dog “PIB”.   Also survived by brothers: Robert and Harry Donaldson; sisters: Tess, Donna, Jane, Rita and Betty.  Ken was a Navy veteran, retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp as an electrician.  Ken enjoyed yard work and his riding mower.  He also enjoyed crosswords, solitaire and puzzles and spending time with his buddies at the “End of the Counter” Coffee Club.    A gathering of friends will be held from 3:00 p.m., Saturday (Nov 27th) followed by A Celebration of Life at 4:00 p.m. at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Trish Wood, officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken’s memory may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.  (www.woundedwarriorproject/support.com)
