Obituary of Susanna A. Kirsch

KIRSCH – Susanna A. (Lieb) 92, of Ebensburg passed away peacefully January 25, 2022 at home. Born March 22, 1929 in Cresson, daughter of the late Louis J. Lieb, Sr. and Virginia J. (Soisson) Lieb. Preceded in death by her first husband Warren Thomas, Jr.; second husband Irvin Kirsch; son, Clifford Thomas; Brothers: Fr. Aquinas Lieb, TOR; James, John & Louis Lieb Jr., Fr. Marianus Lieb TOR; and sisters: Virginia Waring and Nancy Rupp. Survived by children: Virginia "Ginny" (Gerald) Rosko, Mineral Point, Warren (Candy) Thomas, Melborne, FL.; and Carolyn Kirsch, at home; four grandchildren: Mark (Melissa) Rosko; Michael (Heidi) Rosko; Angela (Justin) Wise; and Nicholas Rosko; great-grandchildren Connor and Addison Rosko, and Lydia and Jillian Wise. Also survived by sister Janet Zabrosky, Loretto. Susanna was a member of Holy Name Roman Catholic Church, Ebensburg, and had also attended the Basilica of St. Michael in Loretto. She loved her family and was kind to everyone she met. Friends may gather at 9:15 a.m., Thursday at Holy Name Church Narthex, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m., Rev. Fr. Brian Warchola, celebrant. Interment at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Nicktown. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susanna's memory may be made to your local food pantry.
