Obituary of John Stanley Augustosky

Augustosky – John Stanley 80, of Nanty Glo, passed away January 28, 2022 at home.  Born November 27, 1941 in Johnstown, son of the late Stanley and Mary (Machuta) Augustosky.  Preceded in death by son Stephen, brother Frank, sister Rose Marie George, and grandson Bradley Molinick.  Survived by wife, Norma (Fisher) of Nanty Glo to whom he has been married 55 years; children, Kim Augustosky, Wendy (Jeff) Wilson, and David Augustosky. Also survived by brother Steve (Mary), sisters; Louise Kachik, and Judy Orlando, as well as 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.  John was retired from Ebensburg Center.  A US Army veteran, he was a member of the Nanty Glo VFW, American Legion, and Polish American Citizens Club.  A funeral mass will be held 10am Saturday February 19^th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Rev. Leonard Voytek celebrant.  Interment St Charles Cemetery, Twin Rocks. In lieu of flowers donations in John’s memory may be made to the Nanty Glo Library.  Arrangements are in care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.
