STEPHENS – Edward Gerald, 85, of Strongstown, passed away in his sleep of natural causes February 15, 2022 at home.  Born August 9, 1936 in Nanty Glo, son of the late William and Bessie (DeArmy) Stephens. Preceded in death by sister, Rosella Norton; and brothers, William, John and Robert. Survived by wife of 61 years, the former Nancy Frederick; daughters, Brenda, Lisa and Karen Stephens; grandson, Michael Stephens-Davis; brother, Lawrence Stephens; brother in law, Phil Norton and sister in law, Janet Stephens. US Navy veteran. Retired from Bethlehem Mine # 33; and was part owner of Stephens Garage, Strongstown. Private arrangements by the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.
