My name is Linda Good Shultz. Your Fraternal Grandfather Will was my Maternal Grandmother’s brother. Mary Sides Stephens. I remember their mother living with Grandmom in Ohio. My mother was June Stephens. Your mother Joy was my gym teacher at Central for 2 years. It has been years since I have seen your father but fondly remember him. Please accept my sincere condolences in his passing.

We first met Bill and Joy while attending Ebensburg UMC church service with our three very young daughters. We sat directly in front of them and were always reassured that we, as a family, were not a bother or interruption, but a wonderful blessing as a reminder of their own young family. We grew to look forward to seeing their faces when they would see our girls. Bill was a wonderful, gentle soul and he certainly left his Christian mark.
Our prayers for peace and comfort go out to the family. Chicki, we send our love…

My uncle Bill, he was a man of God, full of love and always there no matter what. I had gone through some really rough times growing up and he was there as always. He never looked down on people who had problems he held them up and prayed. I am a living example. He walked me down to the preacher and my now husband when we got married. ( we were married at my grandmothers house) . Every problem I had or any concerns it waw me, Uncle Bill and the Lord. I will miss him every day. All my love to my cousins they should be and I am sure they are proud to call him Dad..
Love Chris

Bill was a man of gentle spirit and true conviction. He was an example to me and many other men, what it looks like to be a man of God.
