MILLER – Warren W., 84, of Johnstown, entered into Heaven on July 3, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Warren was born on December 1, 1937 in Johnstown, son of the late Arthur and Anna (Dickert) Miller; and in laws, Robert and Truth (Weaver) Becker. Last surviving member of his immediate family. Preceeded in death by his wife, Joann T. (Becker) Miller; daughter Susan Miller; three siblings; and daughter in law, Sharon Miller. Survived by children, Norma (Richard) Miller; Dwayne Miller; Amy (Tom Beck) Zarnesky; Diane (Raymond) Taylor; Pamela Miller; and Wanda (Chuck) George-Kist. Also loving grand pappy to 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson. Known as “Pappy Horn”, as pronunciation of young ones would have it. One of God’s last plans for Dad was to call him to Heaven in the same first week of July as his wife and daughter, who passed in previous years. Warren was a graduate of Johnstown High School. He retired as a millwright from Bethlehem Steel Corporation. Member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Mundys Corner. Dad meant the world to us all. We looked to him for guidance, support and love. He will be so very much missed and forever loved. He had a deep appreciation for life’s simple things and cherished his time spent with family and especially missed his wife, Joann. So Dad…as we all will be saying our final goodbyes, please know that now our wishes are for you to rest in peace, free from all your earthly pain and sufferings. We love you! At Warren’s request, services are private and in care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo. Condolences may be left for the family at www.askew-houser.com. In lieu of other donations, the family asks that contributions be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Warren’s memory.
