RUMMEL - Matthew Michael, 42 of Mundys Corner, passed away July 31, 2022 at home. Born March 1, 1980 in Johnstown, son of Thomas William and Delores (Orsini) Rummel, Mundys Corner.  Survived by parents; his brother Andrew;  as well as numerous aunts and uncles. A graduate of Central Cambria High School, he was a US Air Force Veteran having been assigned to maintenance of B-1B bombers during Operation Enduring Freedom.  After his time in the service,  he had worked with his father at TW Rummel and Son Construction.  Matt loved fishing with his father TW  and brother Drew, he loved his family, especially his mother Dee, and knew the Lord.  Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, Monday (August 15th) at The First Baptist Church of Nanty Glo, Pastor Geno Bartoletti, officiating.  Military rite by Blacklick Valley Ritual Team will be held at 10:45 before the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Matt's memory may be made to the First Baptist Church of Nanty Glo Youth Fund. The family appeciates all the love and support they have recieved, particularly from Matt's aunt Betty.   Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.  Condolences to the family may be left at www.askew-houser.com
