Obituary of James Carney

CARNEY – James, 75, of Belsano, passed away on November 21, 2022, surrounded by his family. Born March 24, 1947 in Johnstown, he is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lynn (Marsh) Carney; sister Judy (Joe) Kovach; his three children, Stacey (Dave) Ardini, Heidi (Rich) Howells; and Craig (Stephanie) Carney. His grandchildren, Matthew (Brianna) Ardini; Emilee Howells and her fiancé Jacob Cribbs; Evan Ardini; Tyler Howells; Hayden and Hailey Carney. He was a retired Correction Officer at SCI - Smithfield Prison. He was an avid hunter and loved fishing at Dumans Dam. He loved sitting on the porch waving to cars passing by, and most importantly picking on his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
