Obituary of Dawn Cheree Warzel

WARZEL – Dawn Cheree, 34 of Nanty Glo, passed away suddenly May 19, 2023 at home.  Born April 11, 1989 in Williamsport, Pa., daughter of Desmond and Kathy (Bracken) Warzel, Sr..  Preceded in death by her mother, Kathy;  maternal grandparents Norman and Margaret Bracken; and paternal grandparents: Desmond and Martha Warzel.  Survived by her father, of Twin Rocks; her fiance Aaron Lauer, Nanty Glo; son,  Leighland Zunner and daughter,  Zoey Kathryn Lauer, at home.   Also survived by brothers: Richard Warzel;  Desmond Jr. (Rebecca) Warzel; and Michael Warzel (Pam); and sister, Lacey (Kasey) Yarnell; as well of numerous nieces and nephews.  Dawn was a graduate of Blacklick Valley High School.  She was a full-time mom and homemaker.   Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m., until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday (May 24th) at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, the Rev.
