PALENCSAR – Andrew Jr., 77, of Mundys Corner, passed away Oct. 29, 2023 at Maple Heights, Ebensburg. Born April 8, 1946 in Johnstown, son of the late Andrew and Irene (Popovich) Palencsar. Survived by wife of 40 years, the former Sharon Mottin; daughter, Deanna (Benjamin) Calvert; grandchildren, Alivia Jean Calvert and Brooks Adam Calvert. Also survived by brothers, John (Irene) Palencsar and William Palencsar; and several nieces and nephews. Andrew retired from Dietrich, of Blairsville. As per his wishes, there will be no viewing. Private services in care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Andrew’s memory.
