Obituary of Kevin T. Young, Sr.

YOUNG – Kevin Thomas, Sr., 50, of Twin Rocks, passed away Nov. 16, 2023 at home. Born January 13, 1973 in Huntingdon. Preceded in death by father, Patrick Young. Survived by wife, the former Jody Saylor to whom he was married for 22 years and children, Morgan, Kevin, Jr. and Andrew. Also survived by his mother, Sandra (Ralph) Rankin; brother, Jeremy (Amanda) Young; brother in law, Richard (Cristie) Saylor; sister in law, Marci Estay; and step brother, Michael (Andrea) Rankin; father in law and mother in law, Richard and Patricia Saylor; nieces, Olivia (fiancé, Kodee Cox) and Bailee; and nephews, Lyndon, Ryan, Wyatt, Ben, Toby and Rider. A merchandiser with Coca-Cola, Ebensburg with 22 years of service. Kevin loved to go camping. Member of Eight Point Buck Club. A skilled knife maker and woodworker, he enjoyed teaching his dog Bo new tricks; and loved spending time with his family. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6 p.m. on Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Pastor Geno Bartoletti, officiating.
