Jeannette was a treasured member of the Ripley family, immediately liked and respected by all six Ripley sisters. She was gracious, as an innkeeper and in her personal life. Her French and Vietnamese background served her well as co-owner of the Noon-Collins Inn of Ebensburg, PA. Jeannette culinary skills were legendary. This kind and cultured lady will be missed by many. Rest in peace, Jeannette.

My mother, June Fether, and I are so sad and sorry for the loss in our Ebensburg community. We send our deepest condolences to the Family. Mrs. Ripley was so kind to me when I returned to Ebensburg eleven years ago and made me feel welcome always, especially being a part of the Cambria County Historical Society with Atty. Ripley.
June and I saw the Ripleys at Cracker Barrel in Altoona before Thanksgiving last year, and we had a wonderful conversation about cooking and France. She was an amazing woman and chef! We are sending our prayers.

I am so Sorry..What a Wonderful Person..I've stayed at their BB countless times over the years. Jeannette and Lew always made me feel so welcome. They treated me like family. I always called her Miss Ripley. Often times, when I was the only one staying overnight she would sit with me during one her wonderful breakfasts and we would just talk and enjoy each others time..She will be truly missed by all..RIP My Dear Friend..

Jeanette and my mother were friends for decades. They both enjoyed the Cambria City Ethnic Fest, and would sit on our front porch catching up on each others lives. They may have only seen each other once a year, they would pick up on their friendship as if only a few days had passed. She was a lovely friend to my whole family, and will dearly missed.
