It was my honor and privilege to be Michael’s mentor at Third Creek Elementary School. He was excited to be beginning his career. His purpose was how can I be more effective in helping my students learn. We rollled up our sleeves and begin lesson plans and behavior modification methods. We team taught and always put the needs of our students first. They were excited to have a say in their learning. Michael became my extended family. We shared work and meals at my home. He became a master teacher over time loving small group time at his table. He was an excellent teacher, encourager, coach, and a kind person. My life was so blessed because of my friend. I will miss him as so many others May God help your family with this terrible loss. Thinking of you Debra Redmond Millsaps
