Worthington - Michael James,24, formerly of Nanty-Glo, lost his life to a vehicular homicide January 27, 2006 in Orlando, Florida. Son of Susan and Terry
Worthington, Nanty-Glo. Graduated from Blacklick Valley High School class of 2000. Recently received an associates degree in Recording Arts at FullSail University in Orlando, Florida. He was a talented vocalist and song writer. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Hazel and Clair Smith of Ebensburg,Pa. Survived by Parents, of Nanty Glo; daughter Taylor A. Weiland; expecting fiancee Jennifer Packer; sister Nikki and Brother Terry; paternal grandparents, Wayne and Irene Worthington, Nanty Glo. Also survived by numerous relatives and friends. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Friday, at Askew Houser Funeral Home, Nanty-Go, where funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. the Rev. Carl A. Schmidt, officiating. Interment at United Brethren Cemetery, Belsano.
