DICKERT - Lois Toots (Divido), 79, resident of Cambria Care Center, formerly of Nanty Glo, passed away April 29, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Born August 31, 1935 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Louis and Elizabeth (Hill) Divido. Preceded in death by four infant children; step sister, Marie; and step brothers, Joseph Sonny , Louis Fat and Paul. Last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by husband, John, just four months shy of their 60 th wedding anniversary; and children, William (Nancy) Dickert; Michael (Cynthia) Dickert; Susan (John) Slonka; and James (Karen) Dickert. Grandchildren, Daniel, Jessica, Steven, Samantha, Kevin, Kelli (Shane); and step grandchildren, Zachary and Tatianna. Great Grandchildren, Riley, Ryan and Liev; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Formerly employed by Safari Cleaning Co. Toots enjoyed baking and was the neighborhood mom for many children. She also loved crocheting; and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Pastor Larry Dunn, officiating. Interment, Armagh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Toots memory may be made to The American Lung Association or The Alzheimer s Association.
