MARHEFKA – Genevieve M. (Henry), 93, of Vinco, went to be with the Lord Dec. 17, 2015 at home. Born Sept. 30, 1922 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Frank and Agnes (Schrader) Henry. Preceded in death by husband, Michael J. Marhefka, Sr.; son, Michael J. Marhefka, Jr.; grandson, Ronald P. Marhefka, Jr.; and brother, John Henry. Survived by son, Ronald (Patricia) Marhefka; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by brothers, Frank Henry, Charles Henry, and James (Ruth) Henry; and sister, Audrey Wirfel; as well as several nieces and nephews. Member of St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church, Mundys Corner. At the request of the family, there will be no viewing or visitation. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, the Very Rev. Andrew C. Stanko, VF, celebrant. Committal, SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Johnstown. In lieu of flowers donations in Genevieve’s memory may be made to her church. Arrangements by the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.
