MINARCHICK - Evelyn P. " Red" , 89, of Jackson Twp., passed away Oct. 26, 2015 at Rebekah Manor, Ebensburg. Born Nov. 22, 1925 in Twin Rocks, daughter of the late Robert and Stella (Gore) Peach. Preceded in death by husband, Victor S. Vic Minarchick; infant brother, Robert; infant sister, Dolores; brothers, Elmer and Eugene Peach; and sisters, Helen, LaVon, Jeanette and MaryAnn. Survived by daughters, Vickie; MaryEllen (Dan) Ditchcreek; and Stephanie (Randy) Leidy. Grandchildren, Tiffany and Brenton T; and brothers, Raymond (Lois) Peach; and Charlie (Veronica) Peach. Evelyn was a " no frills needed " person who was always proud of her familys accomplishments. She always welcomed a listening ear with great stories of the past. She was known for her homemade bread and cheese buns, which will be greatly missed. A special thank you to the caring staff of Rebekah Manor and Conemaugh Hospice for the loving care shown for our mother. At the request of the deceased, private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.
