KOZLOVAC – Dorothy Jean “Dolly”, 73, of Nanty Glo, passed away peacefully at home Dec. 30, 2018, surrounded by her family. Born July 3, 1945 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by father, William “Russ” Waldron; brother, James; and brothers in law, Roger Holby and Fred O’Farrell. Survived by mother, Dorothy Waldron; husband, of 53 years, William “Louie” Kozlovac; children, William II (Debbie); Donald (Amanda); Sonya (David) Alexander; and Jason. Grandchildren, Josh, Nicholas, Nathan, Jackson, Parker and Paige. Great Grandson, Zayne. Sister of Diane Holby; Deb O’Farrell; Jack (Lisa) Waldron; and Joyce (Jeff) Price. Also survived by sister in law, Kathleen Waldron and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Nanty Glo. Retired general manager of Super 8 Motel, Altoona, with over 20 years of service. Former Nanty Glo Borough secretary for many years and Borough Council. Member of Nanty Glo Fire Ladies Auxiliary for 50 years, Cambria County Fire Ladies Auxiliary, Centennial Committee and Diamond Jubilee Committee. Dolly enjoyed doting on her children and grandchildren and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Mary’s Church, the Rev. Leonard Voytek, celebrant. Committal, National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
