So sorry for your loss. Had the pleasure of working with Debbie while at Kimball and she was a wonderful person. Our prayers are with you and hope that the memories of the good days help you through this difficult time.

Debby was always an amazing person, never complained, even as a kid, just got on with it and in her quiet and unshowy way, got things done. We knew each other as children, and she remained true to herself, her faith and her family all through her life, as I discovered when we reconnected some 15 years ago. Such an intelligence, she was valedictorian of our large graduating class at Johnstown High, but so humble, with great heart and kindness. Such strength, to keep going through so many set backs, so many difficult treatments, but always with an optimism that I suspect astounded her doctors. Such an unshakeable Christian faith which she put into practice, every single day. And such a profound love for and devotion to Randy and to her children Ross and Jodi and to her grandchildren, of whom she was so deeply proud. They are her legacy. But oh, how she will be missed. Earth has lost one of its angels.

I'm so sorry for your family's loss, cancer is such a relentless adversary. Deb fought a heck of a battle, she showed us that true strength does not always appear in the form you expect. She will be missed by her family and many others, of that I have no doubt.
Nothing truly fills the void left when we lose a loved one. Kind words and condolences offered sound so hollow even as we offer them... However, there is comfort that can only be found in the knowledge that a person was a faithful Christian and that because of that, they are never truly lost to us. They have merely moved on ahead to that ultimate destination the Lord has planned and built for us. Be strong in your faith now more than ever, it will sustain you when nothing else will.

I am truly sorry for your loss. Deb was like a second Mother to me and she will be missed. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome and loved. My heart goes out to the entire family as you will feel this loss forever. Her battle with cancer was a hard fought one and proves her strength and faith. Love to you all. Trudi and Terry Shean
